Funny Facts:
Here are some funny (but true) facts to brighten your day:
Pigeons can tell the difference between Picasso and Monet. Meanwhile, some of us still confuse Monet with “money.”
You can't hum while holding your nose. Go ahead, try it… I’ll wait.
Ducks can sleep with one eye open. They’re basically nature’s paranoid little insomniacs.
You’re taller in the morning than at night. Gravity literally squishes you down during the day. So technically, you wake up taller and more optimistic.

Today’s Positive Stories
The Teacher Who Never Gave Up - Jaime Escalante
Jaime Escalante was a high school math teacher in East Los Angeles in the 1980s. He taught in a struggling school where many students were considered “unteachable.” But Escalante believed in them - and pushed them to aim higher. He began teaching calculus to students who had never imagined themselves in college.
Despite resistance from staff and doubt from others, he motivated his class so well that 18 students passed the Advanced Placement Calculus exam. When the testing board thought they had cheated, the students retook the test - and passed again. His story became so inspiring, it was turned into the film Stand and Deliver.
The Man Who Fed Millions - Narayanan Krishnan
Narayanan Krishnan was a top hotel chef in India with a promising international career ahead of him. But after witnessing a man eating his own waste out of hunger, everything changed. He gave up his luxurious job and started feeding the homeless in his hometown of Madurai. Every day, Krishnan cooked and served meals to hundreds of people - not just giving food, but love, dignity, and respect.
He also founded the Akshaya Trust, which now provides food and care for those society has forgotten. His story is a true reminder that a single act of compassion can ripple into a lifetime of impact.
