Funny Facts:
Here are some funny (but true) facts to brighten your day:
There’s a museum dedicated entirely to bad art. It’s called the Museum of Bad Art (MOBA), and its motto is: “Art too bad to be ignored.” Honestly, iconic.
The word “chef” literally means “boss” in French. So the next time someone calls you “chef,” just know you're basically the CEO of the kitchen.
Sea otters hold hands when they sleep so they don’t drift apart. It’s equal parts adorable and practical - and frankly, they’ve set the bar unreasonably high for relationship goals.

Today’s Positive Stories
Here are two true, powerful, and uplifting stories that’ll inspire hope and remind you of the good in the world:
The Boy Who Built a Windmill William Kamkwamba - Malawi
At just 14 years old, William Kamkwamba was forced to drop out of school in rural Malawi because his family couldn’t afford the fees. But he didn’t stop learning - instead, he taught himself physics and engineering from old library books.
Using scrap materials like bicycle parts, wood, and broken machinery, he built a working windmill to power his family's home. Later, he built a second one to pump water for irrigation during droughts.
His invention changed his village's future - and eventually, the world took notice. He later gave a TED Talk, wrote a bestselling book, and even had a Netflix film made about his life: “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind.”
From a dusty village to global stages - because one boy believed knowledge could change everything.
The Nurse Who Carried a Stranger’s Baby for 3 Days After a Hurricane Hurricane Harvey - Texas, 2017
When Hurricane Harvey flooded parts of Texas, a young mother was stranded at a hospital with her newborn, unable to leave due to rising waters. She begged a nurse named Shelby LeMieux to take care of her baby while she searched for her husband.
The mother never made it back before evacuations began - but Shelby didn’t leave the baby’s side. She cared for the child for three days straight, feeding, rocking, and comforting the baby while authorities tried to locate the parents.
Eventually, the family was found safe and reunited. The mother said she would be forever grateful to the “stranger who became family” in a time of chaos.
Even in disaster, human kindness finds a way to shine through.
